Halloween Safety Tips || #Blogtober

Halloween can be fun time for everyone, but it's important to take some safety precautions. Here's a couple of tips to help you stay safe this Halloween.

Tip #1
Wear comfortable shoes.
If you plan on walking a lot when you go trick or treating wear comfortable shoes so your feet won't feel sore.

Tip #2
Walk with groups
Never go trick or treating by yourself. Always walk with a group. This way you will stay safe & avoid something happening to you if you walk by yourself.

Tip #3
Make sure costumes are not a tripping hazard.
If your costume or your child's costume is too long make sure you fix it to the appropriate length so it doesn't become a tripping hazard when you walk around.

Tip #4
Make sure you're able to be seen
Since most of the trick or treating is done at night; make sure you are able to be seen by drivers. Use reflective tape on your costume or buy a light up button you can attach to yourself. If you're walking with your dog make sure they also have something that can alert drivers of their presence. They sell light up dog collars on Amazon & Ebay; they're inexpensive as well.

Tip #5
Check your candy
I know, I know... when you get home you just want to eat up all your candy. I get it! But unfortunately sometimes sick, twisted, crazy people tend to take advantage of it being Halloween to cause harm. There has been many stories of people putting razor blades in candy or children finding strange things in their candy. Check for open packages, candy that's not in its original packaging, holes. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Autumn Tag #Blogtober

1. The smell of pumpkin guts or rotting
leaves?
Rotting leaves.

2. Sweet or salty pumpkin seeds?
I've never had sweet pumpkin seeds, but I do love sweet things so I think if I try sweet pumpkin seeds I'd like them.

3. Store bought or pumpkin patch pumpkins?
I'm going to have to say store bought, only because I've never been to a pumpkin patch. I've watched other people go (Zoella) and it seems like it's so much fun.

4. Wool or knit sweaters?
Both. As long as they keep me warm and cozy I'm happy.

5. Halloween party or explore haunted places?
Halloween party. I'll leave the exploring haunted places to Shane Dawson.

6. Apple pie or pumpkin pie?
Ugh, please don't make me choose. I... I... can't. There both just so delicious, but if I had to pick one it'll be pumpkin pie. *whispers to apple pie* "But I still love you"

7. Still, silent nights or rainy, windblown nights?
Well, I guess by my blog username you'd probably think I'll choose rainy windblown nights? Well, you're wrong never judge a book by its cover. Lmao. Nawww just kidding yes I'd choose rainy windblown nights. Rain is just so relaxing, who wouldn't like it.

8. Witches or ghosts?
How about neither. *laughs* witches can cast spells on you & ghost well if it's a mean ghost it can make your life a living hell.

9. Raking leaves or climbing trees?
Raking leaves because then you can jump in the piles you make. Sure it's more work, but it's fun.

10. Ouija boards or ghost stories around a campfire?
Ghost stories around a campfire. I will NOT risk something dangerous happening with the ouji board. That's way to scary for me.

11. October or November?
Between October & November, I like November more. Not only because it's my birthday, but November is close to December and I LOVE Christmas.

12. Black cats or owls?
Black cats. Speaking of black cats, did you know that they are least likely to be adopted when compared to an animal with light fur. *source

13. Fireplace or candle light?

Both.

14. Monster movies or their classic novels?
I don't know what this question means by "or their classic novels" I'm assuming it probably means classic Halloween movies. Well, I'll watch any scary movie. So I choose both.

15. Carve or paint pumpkins?
They're both fun. One lets you express your creativity by carving out shapes to make something while the other allows you to paint it. If I had to choose one; I'd pick paint it. Only because carving takes a lot of hard work.

What about you guys? Which pie is your favorite? Apple or pumpkin. Leave your answer in the comments below. Don't forget to follow me on all my social medias. Love you. Until next time.
