What I got in Mexico (Haul) || #TravelBlog

If you read my previous blog post you know by now that I went on a trip to a small place in Mexico called Huandacareo Michoacan. If you didn't read my last blog post you can read it here. While I was in Mexico I purchased some things that I thought I'd share with you all. I just want to say something before I get to my haul. Please do NOT judge me on the following... I know the size of this haul is not big, I was sick for most of the time in Mexico so I could not go out and buy stuff and when I did I mostly bought food lol because you know priorities and because food is life. Secondly, I know that at least one of the things pictured is a fake but I liked the colors of it so I bought it. Anyways, lets get on to what you came to see...

Here's a close up look at everything

This is a Virgin Mary bank. I won it during the marble game at the fair.

 Up close details

This is the marble game:
The objective of the game is to roll your marble into high numbers to win a prize.

Swatches of the Lip Gloss

I bought 2 bags of these lollipops. If you've tried them you know why I just had to have these. If you haven't tried these they are mango flavored lollipops that are covered with chili powder. They're so delicious, I highly recommended them.

This is La Loteria. AKA: The Lottery. If you don't know what this is the easiest way I can explain this to you is... It's like bingo, but with pictures instead of numbers.

Swatches of the OKLAN Natural eyeshadow palette

This is the one I was previously talking about. I KNOW it's fake so please do not mention that it's fake because I know. Lol I loved the colors in the palette I just had to get it.

Anyways, that's the end of my haul. If you'd like to see more stuff like this please let me know on twitter  or by commenting on this post. You can also message me on Instagram if you'd like.

My Trip to Mexico in Pictures || #TravelBlog

Hello everyone! Happy 2018 and welcome to my first post of the year. Also, welcome to the first of hopefully many travel blog post on this blog.

I traveled to a small place called Huandacareo Michoacan in Mexico. More information on the place here. While I was there I took many pictures & that I thought I'd share with all of you.

We traveled by car (it took us like I believe 2 days) here's my view while we were driving:

One of my favorite things that I saw while on the road was as we got closer to our destination there were road signs in spanish that said stuff like "slow down your family is waiting for you" I thought that was really cool.

My dog, Cookie, really enjoyed our trip to Mexico. She hadn't been since she was a small puppy so when we got to our house she was extremely happy. Here's a couple of pictures of her:

 Can you spot Cookie? Lol

 This was Cookie's favorite
spot to sit at in the yard

 Here's her in her Christmas
sweater on Christmas Eve
 Here she is wondering
where's dinner

This is Cookie's new best friend/cousin
her name is April (she's my cousins dog)
The next photos is Cookie meeting her

The meeting between Cookie & April went good. They both became friends after they found out they shared the same love for chicken nuggets. Lol.

The next pictures are of "La Plaza." The Plaza is a place where you can go hang out. It has a lot of benches & it's decorated with a lot of trees. It is located right in front of the Church. You can buy garbanzos, peanuts, seeds, water etc.

 This is the decoration
On the bench

 Then singers came and started
Singing and people started dancing

They had these selfie stations at the plaza

Next to the Plaza they had a stage where they have important events

Here's the President with his family

They had some singers too

The Church looks like this:

Food:
I didn't photograph much of my food because the first couple of pictures I took of my food people looked at me weird and I got embarrassed so I don't have much food pictures:

This was my FAVORITE thing ever. It's a giant cup of "agua de horchata" it's sweet rice water. It cost $17 pesos which is like $1 USD. Had it every single night that I went to the Plaza.

Random Pictures:

There was so many stray dogs in Mexico. I wanted to take all them home. It really broke my heart to see so many homeless dogs who had injuries as well. So sad. I also made a friend while there. Named him Paco.

Was bored one day and had a romantic photo shoot with dolls.

Here's my trip in pictures. This isn't all of the pictures I took so if you want to see a part two just let me know on twitter or by commenting below.
