What is Influenster?

Influenster is a community of over three million social savvy shoppers that stay on top of the latest product news and expert tips. Also, they review products, share honest opinion with brands and the community. Lastly, influenster members can test products for FREE based on social media influence. *source  
You can also read reviews from real people just like you to make sure you're money is well spent on a product you haven't tried yet. 

Once you register for influenster you're going to have to fill out your basic info (basic info is just your first and last name, location, zipcode, birthday, sex, race, how much you make, and your education) your about me (which will ask you questions about your skin, face, hair, household, health). 

Now lets talk about your impact score (your impact score is the number of followers you have all together on the social media platforms they mention) the higher your impact score it will increase your chances of winning a voxbox. The social media platforms they mention online are:

• Tumblr
• Foursquare
• Google Plus
• Pintrest
• Blogger
• Wordpress

Please note that you don't have to have all these social medias to participate in Influenster. What matters is how many people you can reach.

Influenster is really easy to use as well, if you have a question you want to ask you can ask it to the community and within minutes you'll have a response. This works also if you have a question on a certain product, you just look it up and post the question in the ask question portion of the product page and people who have tried the product can answer the question for you. I remember two times when I wanted to know what the difference between washing your face with your hands vs washing your face with a spinning brush. I posted this question on a spinning brush face cleaning product page on influenster and a few hours later (sometimes this happens so don't get discouraged if someone doesn't respond right away) said that with a brush I was washing my face deeper into the skin and was getting everything vs washing my face with my hands which was only washing the top layer. 



I have been using the website for a couple of months now and so far I've received two voxboxes and I've been in two virtual ones. Real/Physical voxboxes get sent to your house with products for you to try meanwhile virtual voxboxes are kinda like physical ones, but you have to sometimes spend your own money to buy the product and talk about it on your social medias. They will sometimes provide a coupon code for you to use so you don't have to pay the full price. Speaking of coupons Influenster also has those available on their website. Can you believe it "holy cow."

As you can see I am currently in (more like finished) a virtual voxbox. This one was for Olay at walmart. Walmart had put their Olay bodywash on rollback (it was cheaper) and Influenster wanted us to tell everyone about the rollback and then buy the product and review it.
