How to create your own Advent Calendar

I was online the other day and was like... "I wonder if digital advent calenders exist & if so I want one" so I was searching online and turns out you can make... that's right MAKE your own digital advent calander *sister shook*

So, for today's blogmas post we are going to be making our own digital advent calender so keep reading to see my finished product. :)

The site we are going to be using is called "MyAdvent" 

When you click on the words "MyAdvent" it should take you to the website & there you will see something like this....

Once you're there click on "Create free calander"

Clicking on "create free calander" should bring you to a something that looks like this

If you click the option on the right you're going to be taken to your phones app store to download the app version of the website, but we are going to be clicking on the left side (where it says "web")

Once you click on Web it should bring you to a screen that looks like this...

Go ahead and name your calander and enter your name 

Once you've done so click the "next" button on the bottom of the screen. When you do that it should take you to a screen that looks like this...

As you can see this is where you can go ahead and add pictures, messages, or even videos to your calander.

To add stuff to your calander look for the picture icon, the 4 lines icon and the youtube icon. They should look like this... 

Next click on one of those icons (it doesn't matter which one you choose because they all open the same screen) The screen should look like this once you click on an icon

Here you add the pictures,videos and or messages you'd like to add.

Once you do that click save.

Next repeat the last step and this one for all the windows.

After you've done filling out all the squares click next... it should take you to a screen that looks like this.

Here you can pick the color of the doors, the title color and background image. I left the background image the same and I only changed the title and door color.

To change the color of stuff click on the color box of what you want to change (example door background color)

To change it to the color you want just move your mouse (or your hand) to the color you want on the right then if you want to make it darker on the left (you see that little dot?) Drag the dot with your mouse (or hand) to the shade of the color you want.

After you're done decorating click "next"

It should take you to a screen that looks like this:

Here you're going to enter your email address so they can send you the link of your finished work.

After you're done entering your email click next and the screen you now see looks like this:

Then you should get an email (to the email address you entered previously) that looks like this... well you know with your name on it.

Click on "confirm email" after that your screen should look like this

Here's the moment we've all been waiting for. Drumroll please... MY ADVENT CALENDAR! I hope you guys like it. I spent hours making it. Click [here] to open it
