Love Island UK Season 7 Episode 1 Recap

Hey everyone so before I start talking about the new episode of Love Island UK season 7. If you haven’t seen it yet this is your warning that this post will in fact contain spoilers from tonight’s (6/28/21) episode. 
Here’s some of the things that happened in tonights episode that caught my eye. 

When it was time to couple up with each other. None of the girls stepped up for Hugo so he made the decision to couple up with Faye. He couldn’t remember her name and Faye was all like “if he can’t remember your name that’s a huge red flag.” 


Ok fast forward Hugo gets Faye stolen by Toby but then when Brad walks out Laura was like if your fancy Brad step forward and guess who steps up. Faye. Now it’s time for Brad to make he’s decision right… so he’s all like I want to couple up with the one in blue and Faye was all like 

She didn’t say the same thing as she said with Hugo why???? Because she actually stepped up for Brad and wanted to be with him so she stayed quiet. 

Also, can we also talk about why every single beautiful black girl that goes on love island is always picked last. Like what the actual hell is that? That made me mad so bad in tonight’s episode that Kaz was picked last and had to couple up with Toby.

You can tell Liberty is really starting to like Jake but the feeling is not there with Jake. Jake said to the boys that he likes Liberty but he doesn’t have that “I want to rip all your clothes off” feeling when he sees her. He says that he likes that they both have banter.

Shannon was upset because Aaron picked her and he’s not her type but she is going to keep her opinions open and let Aaron know that. 
Sharon was mad because she had to be coupled up Hugo. She says that Hugo is shy and she doesn’t like that. What kind of excuse is that though?!? Like it’s the first night what did you expect to happen? Maybe it takes a little why for him to open up. 
Speaking of Hugo… Faye had to go on again and open her mouth and be like “I like the name Hugo for a dog” when I heard her say that I was like 

I hated that instead of “text” they are know doing voice notes. So instead of saying “I got a text” they say “I got a voice note” 

Speaking of the voice note thing… the bombshell (Chloe) sent a voice note to Toby saying that she was waiting outside the villa and wanted to take the boys out on a date but they had to pick who gets to go on a date with her. I have a feeling that maybe Jake, Aaron & Toby will go on the date with Chloe in the next episode.


The Islanders also played the game they always play where they pick stuff from a box and do what it says. 
Jake gave Liberty a sexy dance.
Kaz got her toe sucked by Toby and Jake filmed it.
Sharon had to suck/make out with Hugo’s ear lobe.
Brad and Faye had to make out. And lastly Shannon and Aaron had to twerk. Aaron sucked at it lol he should’ve taken some lessons from Mike lol

The only thing I liked about this episode is seeing how Kaz & Liberty started becoming friends. They reminded me of Cely & Justine from Love Island USA. I can’t wait to see more of their friendship as the show progresses.
