Let's talk about the kdrama Nevertheless

I know... I know I'm late to talk about this kdrama but hey let's talk about it. This is your alert now that this post contains spoilers so if you haven't watched it and plan on doing so exit now and then come back so we can talk about it. 

Nevertheless is a 10 episode kdrama that was released on Netflix on June 19, 2021. The kdrama stars Song Kang who plays Park Jae eon, Han So Hee who plays Yu Na Bi & Chae Jong Hyeop who plays Yang Do Hyeok.  

The kdrama is about two complete opposites falling in love. Nabi, an art student, is a little pessimistic about love due to a bad experience with an ex manages to fall in love with fellow art student Park Jae eon. Park Jae eon is literally a walking red flag but Nabi is like this

The drama is ok, but Nabi made me so mad I had to step away and stop watching the kdrama halfway through episode 8. (I finished it now but I put that kdrama on pause for a while). Nabi was making me so mad because how can she continued going back to Park Jae eon even after getting hurt. Like GIRL Do Hyeok was RIGHT THERE! But no every single time you're like "I wonder what Park Jae eon is doing... why didn't he show up to school... blah blah blah."

The only thing that made this kdrama worth watching is the cute scenes between Nabi & the second lead Do Hyuk and the romantic relationship between Yoon Sol & Seo Ji Wan. 

Other then that this kdrama just makes you mad at Nabi. Especially towards the end when you think Nabi finally you know grows a back bone and stands up for herself and says what she really thinks to Jae eon faster then a blink of an eye she goes back to falling for him. 

Another part that made me really mad was when Nabi was walking home and Park Jae eon tells her that he can help her pack his things and the only reason he did that was because he saw that Do Hyuk was waiting for Nabi. He did that to make him jealous because he knew he also liked Nabi. 

I wouldn’t recommend this kdrama cause it made me mad. Yes it does have a good soundtrack & I love the way they displayed some scenes but the storyline is what made me mad. I would’ve loved it if Nabi realized that Jae eon wasn’t someone to fight over and be upset. She needed to realize the difference between love & lust. What Nabi was feeling towards Jae eon wasn’t love it was more lust because well, I don’t even want to get into those scenes from the kdrama if you know you know lol.
