Patchology The Zen Master Soothe 5 Minute Sheet Mask Review

Hello everyone! Today's blog post is going to be a product review. As you can tell by the title the product we are going to be reviewing Patchology's "The Zen Master" FlashMasque Soothe 5 Minute Sheet Masks.

Thank you so much to Poshly & Patchology for sending me these masks in exchange for my honest review.

Wait... wait... you're asking what's poshly? It's an app (I use the app, but it's a website as well) where it asks you questions like for example "what are your skin concerns?" Then it has a bunch of answers; you can pick one or all the answers sometimes. After you've answered a few questions; these questions are personalizing items for you that will later pop up on the prize tab. But you got to be quick because items are sometimes gone in a blink of an eye.

Anyways, let's get on to the review shall we...

Here's the Patchology sheet masks that were sent to me.

This is the box it came in.

The box contains 4 sheet masks. A box like this would cost you about $30 at Ulta. But don't worry, they also sell these individually for $8. Click here if you want to buy.

Patchology Says...
Stressed out skin? Take a chill pill with this soothing masque. Packed with natural anti-inflammatories, it mimics the Aloe Vera plant to de-puff irritated skin and calm redness on contact. Meanwhile, rosemary, sage, and lavender leave behind a protective barrier, which fights against free radicals long after your five-minute masque moment is up. We feel more zen already.

I am absolutely in LOVE with this brand since the first day I used it. I can see why everyone talks so highly of this brand. You can tell right away that they sell super high quality items.

*claps* product *claps* review *claps* time

Ok, so here's the details of the product. When you open up one of the packets you are hit with a light scent. I mention this because I know some people do not like when some products have a light scent. But the scent isn't really powerful it's almost non existent when your nose gets used to it.

When you reach inside the packet to grab the mask you can feel that the whole inside of the packet is drenched with serum (which is good). After you pull out the sheet mask you have to unfold it carefully since it is soaked in the serum.

Once you unfold the mask and set it on your face you can leave it on for 5 minutes or longer. Here's a little pro tip... Since the masks are expensive to get the most of it what I do is when I take off the mask I squeeze the mask to get all the left over serum out. And then I apply that to my face.

Then when the mask is semi dry I take the mask and wipe the remaining serum from inside the packet and squeeze out the serum from the mask again. Lol it may sound like a lot of work, but they're expensive so might as well get your penny's worth.

After I took off my mask and let the serum dry on my face. Oh my gosh! My skin felt super soft and it looked really refreshed/hydrated. I could definitely notice the difference after I used this mask.

I highly recommend these mask to those who have skin that just need a break. Like I said after I took off my mask (and let the serum absorb onto my skin) my face felt super soft and it looked really hydrated and refreshed.

Here's a picture of me enjoying my relaxing face mask. Haha

Final Thoughts:
I absolutely recommend these masks because you can see the difference in your skin right off bat. I know that some people don't have that much money to spend on things like this so that is why I recommend these as a "I want to splurge a little on my skin." I reckon if you give these a try you're going to be like "well, dang these masks are amazing and look at how well my skin looks." In my opinion I think that a mask that shows you results in the very first time you use it is definitely worth every penny.

Now I want to hear from you guys. Have you guys ever tried Patchology? If so, what item did you try and did you like it? Also, in the comments below I'd like to here which Patchology item you guys recommend.

Thanks again to Poshly & Patchology for sending me these masks for free in exchange for my honest review.

*even though these items were sent to me for free all opinions are my own

29 by Lydia Mondavi Lipstick Review || #Blogtober

Hey guys! For today's "blogtober" blog post I want to tell you guys about this fantastic lipstick that Poshly sent me for free in exchange for my honest review.

The product we are going to be talking about is 29 by Lydia Mondavi.

This lipstick cost $25 on their website (click here to buy). I am absolutely IN LOVE with this lipstick because it leaves my lips feeling really moisturized and wait for it... this lipstick also has spf 20... YES... I KNOW! moisturized lips & you protection too? Wait... wait... wait... hold the applause. Yes, there is more. This lipstick "visuably eases the signs of aging"

*picks up your jaw*

Yes! This lipstick is the super hero lipstick we all need in our collection.

The packaging of this lipstick is really simplistic (which is so cute) and the lipstick continer is silver and black.

The top of the lipstick has their "29" logo

The lipstick that I received from Poshly was in the color "wine critic". In my opinion this is the perfect fall color. Here's what it looks like.

This is what the swatch looks like

Do you guys see the perfect "wine" color for fall? I'm definitely going to be using this a lot during the fall season.

Besides this color they also have these:

I have to say that for $25 this lipstick is worth every penny because it doesn't leave my lips feeling "dry" like other lipsticks do. And it lasts a really long time too.

The application process was great. With just one swipe on my lips I started to notice the color.

Final thoughts:
I really loved this lipstick because it moisturized my lips and it has spf. I think this is definitely a good buy and I would definitely buy again once my free sample finishes. The website also has many other different products you can check out.

Rate: 10/10

Thanks again to Poshly and Lydia Mondavi for sending me this product for free in exchange for my honest review. ♡

Patchology Wink & Kiss 5 minute hydro gels Review

Hey guys! Welcome back to another Patchology review. Thank you so much to poshly for sending me these complementary products to try in exchange for my honest review.

As you can tell today we're going to be reviewing Patchology's Wink & Kiss 5 minute hydro gels pack.

This pack contains 2 Hydrating Lip Gels and 2 Pair Rejuvenating Eye Gels. A pack like this one cost you $10 at Ulta or at Patchology's website.

This is such a great buy because a pack of around 30 eye or lip gels cost you $50. What if you buy those packs and you dont like them? Thats alot of money to be wasting. This package of 2 lip & 2 eye gels are for those of us that want to try and not feel super guilty about spending a lot of money if we didn't like the product.

Ok, so let's start off with the review of each product now shall we... First off, we're going to start with Patchology's hydrating lip gels.

when I opened up one of the packages they came in a little plastic rectangle container with the indent of lips.

Here's what that looked like:

The gel had a lot of serum in its packaging  as you can tell in the picture below.

Did you notice how the top of the plastic looks like? That's the serum.

The pros of this lip gel are:
  • The gel is big enough for any sized lips.
  • It leaves you lips feeling so so very soft
  • The "dead skin" on my lips practically disappeared leaving my lips feeling really smooth.
  • It's biodegradable

Patchology says:
Hydrating Lip Gels provide deep hydration to soften, smooth and diminish the appearance of vertical lip lines.

More effective than topical lip treatments, they enhance lip shape and volume. Our HydraSurge5™ Moisture System features advanced hydrogel patch technology that sends the most powerful moisturizing ingredients to your lips faster. Niacinamide, Peptides and Green Tea Extract soothe and deliver anti-aging benefits.

Say hello to more youthful-looking lips.

Like all products there unfortunately has to be some cons.

Cons:

  • Since the lip gel was covered in a lot of serum it kept slipping off my lips. I had to keep my head tilted back until the gel dried up a bit
  • The slit the lip gel had was really small and I personally didn't see the use to it. I tried talking and I accidentally ripped it.

Here's me with the lip gel

One of my favorite things about this lip gel was that if you looked really really close it was sparkly.

Oooo sparkles ♡__♡

hahaha also if you look real close and probably have eyes like a hawk you'll notice where I accidentally ripped it while trying to talk.

Patchology says this can be left on for 5 minutes, but after the 5 minutes were up I noticed the lip gel was still wet with serum so I left it on for longer until it dried up a bit.

Let's move onto the eye gels:

These just like the lip gels came in a plastic container. But instead of the plastic being rectangular it was circle. The gels inside were placed just like it looks like in the picture. Kinda like the ying & yang.

Here's what it looks like when I opened one of the packets:

Like the lip gels, these eye gels are sparkly ♡__♡.

I really liked these eye gels because when I first applied it felt really nice and cold. Which made my tired eyes get that "I'm awake" feeling.

I also liked these eye gels because it made me look like I actually slept my recommend hours of sleep and that I didn't spend all night watching youtube videos. Hahaha.

After taking these off my eyes felt instantly rejuvenated and I looked more awake.

Patchology says:
Our FlashPatch Rejuvenating Eye Gels should become a daily part of your regular pre-makeup skin care regimen. You can also put them on at night to soothe tired, over-worked eyes. They’re perfect for travel, jet lag or pre-party prep.

According to patchology these eye gels can be warn 2 ways. You can wear them to help with crows feet or under eye bags. The following image is from patchology's website; in which it shows you how to wear these eye gels.

I decided to go for my under eye bags.

Cause honey even though these bags are designer, they're so last year & as Jeffree Star would say "it's trash throw them away". lol.

So, if your eyes feel tired I highly recommend thsee eye gels. They absolutely worked wonders for me.

Final Thoughts:
*first time trying a lip & eye gels btw*

Lip Gels: I liked the lip gel because it made my lips feel soft & the dead skin was practically gone. Did I like it to the point that I want to buy the full lip gel package. No. Would I use them again if I bought this wink & kiss package. Absolutely.
Eye Gels: I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED the eye gels. My eyes have never felt so awake and my under eye bags are going on a one way vacation & never coming back. Lol. I absolutely loved them that I'm saving up to buy the full eye gel package. Even though it's $50 I feel like the eye gels are definitely worth it.

Hello everyone! Today's blog post is going to be a product review. As you can tell by the title the product we are going to be reviewing Patchology's Milk Peel 5 Minute FlashMasque.

I recieved 4 Patchology Milk Peel 5 minute FlashMasques for free in exchange for my honest opinion. (Items sent by poshly)

This is the second time that I'm going to be using a sheet mask & between you and me I'm kinda starting to love them more then the other ones... you know the "mud" kind.

This is the box it came in. The box contains 4 sheet mask. A box like this one would cost you $30.
Sounds like a lot? Don't worry sis I agree. But let's not click off just yet. You can buy these in a single packet for only $8 at ulta.

Let me just..
*adds to cart*
ok moving on...

Now, I see why everyone on my instagram is so obsessed with patchology. I always saw their products on my feed and I was like Humm I wonder if their products are good. And OH MY GOSH! You guys I've been sleeping on this brand and I regret it so much. This product that I was given to try is freaking AMAZING!

Here's the details...

When I opened the packet there was a light smell, wasn't anything real obnoxious or anything just thought I'd mention that just in case anyone reading this doesn't like masks with a light scent.

When I pulled out the mask it was dripping with serum (which is a good thing in my opinion cause hello beauty duh lol).
Anyway, since the mask was loaded with serum it was a little difficult to unfold. That's the only con I found. Or maybe that is due to this being my second sheet masks I've used in my whole life I don't know how to unfold yet. Let's just go with the ladder.

Here's me enjoying
my lovely mask. Lol

According to patchology this mask can be left on for 5 minutes or longer if you want to. I left it on for 15 minutes cause I was watching cartoons (yes, I am a grown up. Lol don't take away my grown up license)

After the 15 minutes were up. I took of my mask, I squeezed off all the excess serum from the mask & rubbed it all over my face... Did the same with the rest of the serum from the packet cause umm hello it's expensive and gotta make the most of it lol.

When the serum finally absorbed into my skin; it instantly felt so much better. My skin felt hydrated & so so smooth. *Heavenly music plays*

I'm definitely going to be adding this to my skin care products. Along with other patchology products I have my eye on; since I recently found how much I LOVE this brand.

Final Thoughts:

I understand that this product might not be for everyone due to it being kinda expensive (even if it's only the one packet). If this is the case then I suggest buy it only if you want to splurge a little. I honestly think that you'd really enjoy this because of the
noticeable difference in your skin in a short amount of time. In my opinion a mask that shows you a difference in your skin in such a short amount of time is definitely worth every penny.

Have you tried this mask from patchology? If so what did you think of it? I would like to hear about it in the comments below.

Also, I'd love to try more patchology items in the future so please leave some recommendations in the comments below as well.
