Childhood Christmas Memories || #Blogmas 2017

Hey everyone. I was just talking to my little cousin about what she asked Santa for Christmas and it inspired me to create this post.

Growing up my parents have always made Christmas special for me. Ever since I was little they managed to make the magic of Santa an amazing thing. Hopefully one day if I ever have a family of my own I plan on making each and every christmas special for my future kids.

Back when I was little I LOVED Disney Princesses (still do) and I wanted Santa to bring me the Cinderella Movie on VHS. (I know VHS omg so so old). My parents always told me when I was little that if you were really good Santa would grant you one wish. How this worked was that you had to look at the Christmas tree top (the star/angel or what ever your family puts on top of the tree) and close your eyes really tight. During this time you had to make your wish.

So I closed my little eyes looked at the Christmas tree topper & said "Dear Santa, I've been good all year & I would really like if you gave me the Cinderella Movie." I turned around and the movie was on a table right behind me. (26 years later, I still have that movie)
My second favorite Christmas memory was when Santa knocked at my door. I still don't know how my parents managed to pull this off but here's what happened. It was the 24th of December and it was getting really late. I didn't want to go to bed. My parents said Santa was going to come at any minute now and that I needed to go to sleep. Suddenly someone knocked at the door. "Oh my gosh that's Santa" I thought. We went to open the door & standing in the door way was a really big box. We bought the box inside the house. I opened it and it was the toy kitchen that I had asked Santa for.
Up until this day I still don't know who knocked at my door but all I know is that that day was the best day of my little life. My parents always made my christmas so special and for that I thank them.
*emotional sigh*
enough of this mushy sentimental stuff
*awkward laugh*
*wipes a tear*

In the comments below please share your favorite childhood Christmas memory. Or you can tweet them to me @PinkRainCloudd.

Until next time. Take care. Love you
