Where are they now? (Show: Malcolm in the Middle)

Welcome to the 4th installment of my Where are they now? series. Sorry I haven't been keeping up with this series. To be honest I kind of forgot about it. But don't worry, it's back. For this post we are going to be talking about the show Malcolm in the Middle.

"Malcolm in the Middle is an American television sitcom created by Linwood Boomer for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series was first broadcast on January 9, 2000, and ended its six-year run on May 14, 2006, after seven seasons and 151 episodes. The series follows a family of six, and later seven, and stars Frankie Muniz in the lead role of Malcolm, a somewhat normal boy who tests at genius level. While he enjoys his intelligence, he despises having to take classes for gifted children, who are mocked by the other students who call them "Krelboynes". Jane Kaczmarek is Malcolm's overbearing, authoritarian mother, Lois, and Bryan Cranston plays his immature but loving father, Hal. Christopher Kennedy Masterson plays eldest brother Francis, a former rebel who, in earlier episodes, was in military school, but eventually marries and settles into a steady job. Justin Berfield is Malcolm's dimwitted older brother Reese, a cruel bully who tortures Malcolm at home, even while he defends him at school. Younger brother Dewey, bitter about his ruined childhood, smart, and musically talented, is portrayed by Erik Per Sullivan. At first, the show's focus was on Malcolm, but as the series progressed, it began to explore all six members of the family." (source)

Here's what the cast of Malcolm in the Middle has been up to since the show ended in 2006...

Frankie Muniz (Malcolm)

Since the show ended in 2006 Frankie Muniz was keeping himself busy appearing in things like "Stay Alive (2006), Criminal Minds (2007) among many other things. His latest work was in 2017 where he was a contestant on ABC's Dancing with the Stars.  He also appeared in Misfit Garage in 2017.
If you've watched the show Dancing with the Stars you'll know that they do a most memorable year part then they do some sort of dance. During Dancing with the stars Frankie Muniz opened up about his health.

"Most people think that my most memorable year would be the year "Malcolm in the Middle" started because it allowed me to live all these dreams of mine," Muiz said. "I've gotten to really do anything I've wanted to do, but the truth is, I don't remember much [of that]... It almost feels like it wasn't me."

Over the past five years, Muniz has suffered from mini strokes, or transient ischemic attacks, which cut off blood supply to the brain. He believes these, along with an estimated nine concussions, have contributed to severe memory loss surrounding his childhood acting days." (source)

L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara Review

Hey everyone! I'm back with another product review and this time I'm going to be reviewing "L'Oreal's Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara"

If you're looking for a mascara that doesn't flake or leave your lashes feeling hard and clumpy then this is the mascara for you. Lets start off the review by talking about the packaging. L'Oreal's Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara comes in a rose colored tube with a gold "ring" near the top. I loved the color of it. Super cute!

This is one of the best mascara that I've tried in years. Most of the other mascaras I've tried before have left my lashes feeling heavy and they would clump together. You get what I'm saying right? After I would apply the mascara it would leave my lashes looking like spider legs. Not a good look trust me. But this mascara is different after I applied this mascara my lashes looked bigger and more fan out. Keep reading to see more :)

The brush on this mascara is kind of similar to Too Faced better than sex mascara brush. But the other mascara brush kind of has like a more hour glass shape then this brush. That's kind of the only difference. But I would agree that this is a dupe to that mascara. I don't have the other mascara anymore or else I would have done a side by side picture comparison. In my opinion I like L'Oreal's Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara better for the following reasons... Not only is it way cheaper than too faced (like $10 cheaper... or like $2 if you get the mini) I also love the formula in L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara better than too faced. Why? because the other formula is hummm I don't know how to say it... but I felt like it's more thinner or thicker? I don't know, but what I'm trying to say is that when I applied Too faced and blinked; black would be under my lower lash line.

This was not the case with L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara. After I swiped this one time on my lashes and tried to blink lightly the mascara stayed on my lash and not on my skin. Another thing I liked about this mascara is that my lashes didn't feel hard or felt like they hurt after a while. I've had other mascaras make my lashes feel hard and my lashes would hurt after a while but this wasn't the case with this mascara.

Finally, what I really loved about this mascara is that you don't even have to apply a lot before noticing a difference. Below are pictures to show L'Oreal's Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara in action.
Eye with no L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara

Eye with L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara
What a big difference.

As you can see that I don't have that many lashes so with one swipe upwards of this mascara I went from having almost no lashes to having double the lashes. It almost seems like I have fake lashes on. haha which is great beacause I haven't learned how to apply fake lashes yet. Shhh don't tell anyone.

In conclusion, I would definitely without a doubt buy this again, I highly recommend it. If you wish to buy one of these tubes of mascara for yourself you can purchase it at stores like Walmart, Target or wherever drugstore makeup is sold. I

How to clean the brown stuff off your flat/curling Iron

This is a tutorial on how to clean the brown stuff off your flat iron or curling iron. You know that gross stuff that's probably on your flat/curling iron right now. That's right you can clean that! You don't have to throw it away. Here's how you can clean it.

You will need:
An old toothbrush or cloth
Hydrogen peroxide
Baking soda
A plastic bag
And a small dish

And of course don't forget your plastic bag & your dirty flat/curling iron

Steps:
Pour a little hydrogen peroxide in a small dish and add baking soda.

Pour (the baking soda) and mix until it is a paste like consistency.

Next, put the paste you made on your flat iron. Make sure you're doing this on the plastic bag so you don't get stuff everywhere.

Let it set for 30 minutes.

Finally after the minutes are up take a damp cloth and wipe all the stuff down.

Here's the before pictures of what my flat iron used to look like:

I know... I know... ewww gross, but check out the after...

Here's the after:

I know! Doesn't even look like the same flat iron right? Hope this tutorial was helpful to you. If so let me know in the comments below. Also, in the comments below please let me know what else you would like to see on this blog. Story times? DIYs? Tutorials? Advices? You name it I'll do it.
