Trying Milk Makeup products for the first time

Hey guys! so today we are going to be trying "Milk Makeup" products for the very first time. I've heard so much about this brand that I was like you know it's time that I try this for myself.

So I went and got myself a Milk Makeup set. I believe it's called "a game" travel set. I got it during birch box costumer appreciation day. They gave $5 to new people and I thought this was the perfect time to try some makeup products I've never tried before. Here's the best part I got the set for FREE. Yes FREE. (They had free shipping, and this set was $5)

First of all let's talk about the packaging... The products came in this really cute halographic bag with "Milk Makeup" labeled in the front. Super cute...

This set came with 2 lip colors and one mascara.

Let's take them out of the bag, shall we???

And bammm. So cute right?

Well here's a closer look at all the products:

Here's a closer look at one of the first lip colors...

The first lip color were going to look at is the red one

This red lip color is called "O.G. Red" such a beautiful shade of red.

The color is even more pretty when you swatch it. *heart eye emojis*

Onto the next lip color drumroll please

This beautiful shade of pink is called "C.R.E.A.M"

Here's what it looks like when it's swatched

I am absolutely enamored with the colors of both these lip colors. They're so beautiful. When I swatched them on my wrist the lip color glided on really nicely and at first swatch the color really showed up.

Now let us move onto the mascara.

In this set I received the ubame mascara and I just have one thing to say... WHERE HAS THIS MASCARA BEEN ALL MY LIFE! The mascara wand had 3 "bristle balls" (sorry if that's not the correct term, lol I suck at makeup terminology) but anyways this made it perfect for a smooth application.

The way the wand was shaped it made it so my eyelashes wouldn't clump together; instead fan out more. Which was amazing haha who wants spider legs as eyelashes? Not me.

Another positive thing about the Milk makeup mascara, ubame, is that it made my eyelashes look natural as if I wasn't warning any mascara. As you can see from the following pictures below.

without Ubame mascara

with Ubame mascara

So I would definitely consider this mascara if you're going for a natural eye look.

Final thoughts: I can now see why there was so much talk about this brand on my instagram. The lip colors are beautiful and the color really showed up when I swatched them. Secondly, thank you mascara for making me look like I have eyelashes again lol. I would definitely consider buying more products from this brand in the future, since I had a nice experience with this items.
