Love Island USA The Drop Season 3 Episode 4 Recap

Hello everyone! Welcome to another recap episode for Love Island USA The Drop. Again I don't know if I'm allowed to share images since this is airing on paramount+ so these type of recaps are only going to be words no pictures. I'll try to be as detailed as I possibly can. 

• the scene opens up and we see Josh talking with Kay. He says ok we have 22 minutes to get to know each other. Kay asks Josh what’s his favorite food. Josh responds with chicken broccoli alfredo. He says he’s Italian so you already know. He says he’s a big pasta boy. Kay says her favorite food is jerk chicken. Then they start talking about if they like spicy food. Josh says he likes Mexican food. Next they talk about books. Josh says that since I’m high school he was forced to read books he didn’t like when he went to college he didn’t read but now he reads a lot because he has a lot of free time. He says he likes reading motivational books or how to be successful books. Kay says that she LOVES reading that she would finish 700 page books in 3 days. They also talk about Marvel and comic books. They also talk about traveling and Kay asks Josh about his last relationship he says it ended 2 and a half years ago then you hear nothing but ocean sounds lol they censored the audio. I’m guessing for privacy reasons. Then when the audio does come back Josh says he cheated on his girlfriend. 

• Back in casa amor we see Raul and Trina get to know each other for 22 minutes. Raul tells Trina that he grew up in Miami is an only child. Has a half sister on his dads side (they still have contact but they didn’t grew up together). Raul continues to say that being a only child has lead him to want his kids to one day grow up with a brother or sister because he didn’t have that. Raul continues to say that his family is his number one priority. He’s a big family guy. Raul continues to say that back then he used to play baseball because where he was from everyone played baseball but then he wanted to switch sports and that it was a big deal for him (he switched to play basketball and now he’s a professional player). The conversation now switches to Trina and she says that she’s also a very family oriented person. She says she also wants a family of her own and she wants to have three kids. She tells him that she’s a psych nurse for 2 years and has been working mental health for 8 years. She says it’s her passion to help other people. She says as for sports she doesn’t watch nor do sports. She says she did track in high school. They now talk about their previous relationships. Raul said his last relationship was like 4 or 5 years ago he says that it wasn’t really the best that he feels like he hasn’t been a part of a real committed relationship and have the whole experience of love because his last relationship was on and off. Trina says her first relationship was with her high school sweetheart they moved in together for like 5 and a half years. She says they did the whole thing and they were basically like they were married. But they grew apart and that she grew out of love with him but because of finances and since she was still in school and her then boyfriend was still figuring out what he wanted to be they stayed together *ocean sounds for privacy reasons* when the audio finally comes back Trina says but I finally put my foot down and said you know what I can’t do this anymore you’re holding me back I need to find someone that adores me and wants to be with me. She tells him that she’s 25 years old but she feels like she has an old soul and that she’s worked with older people her entire life and she sees what they have and she sees what her parents have and that she wants that. She says her last relationship was a situationship and that they were on and off *ocean sounds for privacy* when the audio comes back Raul says ughhh toxic. Trina agrees and says yeah lil toxic. She says that she’s not a toxic person but a man can make her crazy. They talk about crazy things that happened in their life. Trina says that one time her parents sent her to boarding school in Kenya and that they just left her there and it was a complete culture shock for her. Raul says that one time he was seeing this one girl and they knew each other for like a week and she already wanted to buy him a car. Trina says in a shocked tone…. Like your sugar momma? Raul says yeah yeah. Trina says be honest did you keep the car? Raul says no that he couldn’t do that to her. They feed each other strawberries. Trina tells Raul that she likes to Netflix and chill and since she works 5 days a week she likes to relax. They both like to shop and work out. They both like listening to music too. They bond a little over reggae music.
