The Color Workshop Hues Palette Swatches

Hey guys welcome back to another beauty post in where I try to become *says in a high voice* a beauty blogger. Oh wow... so cool... super kawaii...

Ok, enough of the fun and games. Let's get to the good stuff now shall we.
So, I got this palette for Christmas last year and I know what you're thinking "last year? Why didn't you post about this last year then"

Well here's what happened...
I... I... I forgot.

it's time to open up the one and only "The Color Workshop "Hues" eyeshadow palette.

As you can see it says it's 14 pieces.
(That's 12 eyeshadow colors and 2 brushes)

This is what the back of the package looks like. It's just a mini tutorial on how you can create the perfect look.

Ok, *clap* so let's open this up now.

The eyeshadows came in this very cute rainbow tin case.

When you open up the tin case, you are
greeted with a cute array of colors; the names are also on there (it's a plastic cover)

Now let's look at the names of these beautiful colors shall we?

Some of my favorites in this Hues palette from The Color Workshop is lady in love, third place, hear me roar, glitzy glamour.

here's some more pictures of the colors (without the names on top)

Let's now get to the swatches.

This is what the first four colors look under the sunlight. I got to say these four are my absolute favorite out of all of them.

The next two images we are about to see are close ups (still under the sunlight)

*heart eye emoji* I am IN LOVE LOVE LOVE with these colors omg

Ok, so this is what those four colors look when they aren't under the sunlight

This is what the other color swatches look under the sunlight

These are the close ups (ya know under the sunlight)

Here's what the color swatches look away from the sunlight

And finally this is what the last colors from the "The Color Workshop Hues" Palette look like.
They're your typical purple's and pinks.

This is what it looks like under the sun

Here's without the sun

Final Thoughts:
Overall I thought the colors were nice. They are, I don't know if I'm using this word correctly, but packable??? Buildable??? I don't even know if this is even the word for it, but I heard James Charles say something like this when he was saying if you want to like really get the color to pop to keep on layering the color so it can work in your favor. Well hopefully you know what I mean lol.

Next, it last A LONG TIME! I know for a $5 palette you wouldn't expect that much right? But holy cow this lasted a long time. I did my makeup (or at least attempted to cause we all know I suck at it) at 1pm. Then when I went to go wash my face at 9pm my eyelids seemed like I just did my makeup. (I used the color third place)

Lastly, I thought this was a good palette the colors really showed up when I swatched them on my wrist and absolutely SMASHED it when I applied it on my lid. I would definitely recommend this if your looking for a cheap palette that actually works.

  1. I love anything rainbow and this palette is so pretty! The colors are so pigmented too!! However as far as what I wear I like to stick to neutrals.

    1. Same. I only normally wear browns and the occasional black. But it's always nice to have all the colors
