October 27 Pets Visit

According to beliefs, today October 27 is the day all animals that have passed away come to visit their owners. I had no idea of this until my beloved dog Cookie passed away. 

And just like what you do for the day of the dead altar. You put your pets picture and add all their favorite things to the altar. It’s actually a very beautiful thing to believe that. I do actually think that they come to visit because I would see like the shadow of my dog near the altar I made. And I’ve also seen peoples videos where the flame from the candle is moving a lot and sometimes when the owners try to blow out the candle they can’t because the dog doesn’t want to leave. Until the owners say it’s on that they can go is when the owner can blow out the candle.
