Help! I'm addicted to Love Island!

Love Island is a British love reality show that airs on ITV2. This show takes 12 single participants and sends them to a villa where they spent 8 weeks; to see "sparks fly" when they couple up with each other.

Then there's this thing called recoupling... this is where they have the option to couple up with someone else or stay with their current partner. But here is the twist... NEW PEOPLE are sometimes added to the game. This sometimes leads to heartbreaks and people getting dramatic as hell. Lol!

There's also challenges and news that are announced when the islanders get text  they have to say they "got a text" and read it outloud.

And of course like many games people get eliminated which is unfortunate because at the end of the season which ever couple is left standing will win £50,000 which according to Google is $65,000. The host has 2 envelopes and the winning couple each choose one envelope. One envelope has £0 and the other has £50,000. The person who chooses the envelope with £50,000 gets to choose if they keep all the money or share it.

Ok so now that we're familiar with what Love Island is let's move on...

I became familiar with this shows name due to British youtubers talking about this show a lot... and I mean A LOT. So, one night I was watching youtube videos when I look on my reccomend tab and see a video called Love Island 2018 first coupling.

I saw the name and was like "hummm Love Island, I know this name... let's see what the hype about this show is" so I clicked on the video and little did I know I was hooked!!

That night I kid you not I went to sleep like at 2AM catching up on episides. Since this is a British tv show and I live in America, I couldn't see the whole show I just saw clips.

(According to some people; full episodes are available on Hulu but ya girl don't got money for Hulu)

Then when I thought my addiction couldn't get any worse, youtuber Joe Sugg was uploading videos to his gaming channel about the Love Island game. I was like "this is such an interesting game" and because he wasn't uploading long episodes I was like I NEED to find out what happens next. So, I raced to the Google Play store to see if it was there and unfortunately the app wasn't there *sad face*

Then on July 8th everything changed and I was able to download the game.

Notice the time? You better
believe that I was watching love island
clips before I found the game

Then I became addicted to that too but that a whole other story.

Then on July 20 aka the BEST DAY EVER not only did one of my favorite youtubers liked one of my tweet, but I found an app that allows me to watch Love Island here in America. I was so happy I nearly cried. So that day I watched my very first full episode of Love Island.

The app I used is called "TVCatchUp" it looks like this
This app has a bunch of British tv stations you can watch live, which is so cool! #NotSpon but I wish it was lol.

My favorite female in the start was Samira. She was my favorite because she was so awkward and didn't know how to flirt with the guys. She reminded me of myself so I guess this is why I loved her from the start.

Later on she had to go home cause she fell in love with one of the new islanders (his name was Frankie) and since he went home she figured there was no point in her staying.

My favorite male in the start was Alex he was so nice and respectful of all the women there it was nice seeing that. At first he was pulling the sympathy card and making everyone (viewers and islanders) feel sad that he couldn't find someone. He would say things like "I really want to find someone here" "I want a girl to come in here and like me for me not because I'm the only single one here."

So, FINALLY here comes a girl named Alexandra.  She directly comes into the villa saying she fancies Alex. That he's "so fit." They then couple up. And as a viewer I was like "Awww finally." Then Alex unfortunately started to act like a total ass.

Later on in the show, new people are added and Alex thought it would be a good idea to tell Alexandra that he isn't ready to be exclusive. Why? Because he wanted to get with a the new islander (her name was Laura).

It really made me mad when Alex wanted to leave Alexandra for new Laura. Like is he blind?

When they did the "lie detector" (notice how I put it in quotes cause I know it's absolutely fake as hell) Alex's answers to the questions Alexandra had made me so angry. Like the one where she asked if something about how if he thinks Alexandra's feelings toward him are genuine. The way he answered pissed me off so much like it's clear as day that she likes him like WTF??

After the July 26th episode, I'm so fucking angry. Ok so, Alex has been dragging Alexandra along for so many week giving her false hope and making her think he loves her. Guess what happens? He broke up with her and told her he doesn't love her. Like why WHY would you drag someone along making them think you like them. He not only waisted her time, his time, but everyone else as well. And the bitch had the NERVE to dump her right after they've been on a romantic date. He is officially CANCELLED in my book.

When Alexandra told him he's pathetic for wasting her time (when he broke up with her) I got up my seat and clapped! I'm just really upset how Alex dragged her along making her think he loved her.

You guys should've seen how when she was talking about him to the other girls she would talk about him with so much love in her voice and the way he talked about her with the other guys was so "cold."

I hope Alexandra can find someone who actually loves her. She's such a Queen.

One of my other favorite females is Dani. She's so genuine and funny. She is the daughter to English actor Danny Dyer. In the villa she & her partner Jack (who is now my favorite male) are always looking out for everyone that the other islanders were calling them "parents"

Jack & Dani are so CUTE together. I wish they got their own reality show after Love Island. I would definitely watch. Also, Jack is so smart, funny and treats Dani really well.

As for their "lie detector don't even wanna start with how their "lie detector" results went. Ugh like ok... I'm a new fan of this show and I can tell you 100% that lie detector is FAKE!!! First of all I remember that when Shane Dawson made a video using a REAL lie detector guy.

The man said once you're hooked up to the machine you can't move or else it affects the results and the guys were moving! It's actually so sad that they had to make Jack and Dani fight for views.

One thing I didn't like about Jack and Dani is that when they were picking which couple to go home in July 27ths episode. They didn't want to send Alex and Alexandra home because they were their mates. Like guys! This is Love Island NOT Best Friends Island. They aren't in a couple send them home!

When they had to take care of plastic babies. Oh my gosh! It was so cute seeing everyone being parents.

Haha and seems like Alex's job doesn't rest even when he's on love island. Here he is being a doctor to the islander's babies

And here's the most funniest moment in my opinion... poor baby Prince getting his arm torn off

Do you watch Love Island? If so who's your favorite & why? I'm so addicted to this show I'm definitely going to be watching the next season. Let's just say "babes I'm loyal" to the show hahaha people who watch the show will definitely get that reference. Lol

What I got for FREE in the Lancôme Hydra Zen voxbox to was the following:

  • Tonique Confort Re Hydrating Conforting Toner with Acacia Honey
  • Hydra Zen Anti Stress Moisturizing Face Cream
  • L'Absolu Lacquer

Review of each product:

Tonique Confort Re Hydrating Conforting Toner with Acacia Honey

REVIEW: I absolutely LOVE LOVE this toner. As soon as it came in contact with my skin I instantly felt the my skin feeling so refreshed and hydrated. The only thing I didn't like about this is that the application process is kinda messy if you don't use a cotton pad. The hole on the top is kinda big so alot of product comes out if you're not careful. This is definitely something I'm going to continue using; especially during the fall & winter times.

Lancôme says:
"Our miracle toner: a silky soft moisturizing toner that gently purifies and immediately rehydrates completion. Full of active ingredients to nourish your skin and deliver deep hydration: calming rose water, plumping hyaluronic acid, and soothing acacia honey. Use twice a day after cleansing. Great for sensitive skin"
Rate: 9.6/10

Hydra Zen Anti Stress Moisturizing Face Cream

REVIEW: This has to be THE BEST moisturizing cream I have ever tried. You know how sometimes some moisturizing creams leave your face feeling oily, kinda gross and kind of sticky? This is definitely NOT the case with this one. As soon as you apply it on your face it absorbs into your skin almost instantly. My skin instantly felt clean & very hydrated. I will say this if you aren't a fan of moisturizers with sents then this definitely isn't for you because this moisturizer has a light sent. In my opinion its not that strong, but I did see some people express how they didn't like the sent in the reviews on Sephora's website. Oh well we're all different right. That's what makes us unique. But I will definitely be buying this as soon as this one is finished.

Below are pictures of how the product looks on the inside.

Lancôme says:
"Rose powered hydration: intense 24hr hydration in a light gel texture, rose infused and oil free. Recharge and replenish your skin by giving it the moisture boost it needs. *Use every morning after applying Tonique Confort"
Rate: 10/10

L'Absolu Lacquer

REVIEW: There are so many positive things about this that I don't even know where to start. First of all I LOVE LOVE LOVE how it's extremely pigmented. One coat of it & you'll definitely see the color right away. I also love how you can keep coating it to get an even deeper color then the original shade. So it's like 3 lippies in 1. I know you're probably thinking that the price is a little too expensive for your pocket but this is absolutely a must have in your makeup Collection! It doesn't leave your lips feeling dry nor sticky like most other brands do. This leaves your lips feeling hydrated & fabulous! And wait! I haven't even gotten to the best part. It doesn't come off that easy with water. I discovered this when I was drinking water and noticed that it didn't come off that easy. I was in absolute shock. Love that I didn't have to reapply hours later.

Below are some more pictures of the product along with what I was saying when I was talking about the "coats"

This is the color I got

Do you guys notice how the color keeps getting darker as I applied more coats. This is so cool!

If you don't see the color gradually getting darker from the swatches I provided; here's some that came in the voxbox...

Lancôme says:
"This new brilliant lip lacquer combines the comfort and shine of a gloss, the pigment of a lipstick and the lasting power of a stain. The high shine finish and vivid color payoff are buildable from sheer to full coverage in 1-2-3 coats"
 Rate: 10/10

*If you don't have money to buy the toner & the moisture don't worry. I felt like I didn't notice that huge of a difference when I used the toner & moisturizer vs when I just used the moisturizer alone :)

Thank you so much to influenster & Lancôme for sending me these products for FREE in exchange for my honest review.

Glade Atmosphere Fine Fragrance Mist Review

Here is what BzzAgent sent me for free in exchange for my honest review.

Glade Atmosphere Fine Fragrance Mist
(Infused with essential oils)

This fragrance mist once sprayed instantly converts any room into a field of flowers.

NOTES: "Elegant notes of jasmine and rose are given a modern twist with scents of pink lady apple and honeysuckle. A hint of honey lends a sweet surprise over a backdrop of cedarwood and spicy clove bud notes." *source

You can find this product in various stores such as Target, Walmart. You can also purchase this product online. The price of this is $5 for 6.2 oz.

Glade also has three other Sents:
They are:
No 2: Bright: sweet pea & pear
No 3: Free: Coconut beach woods
No 4: Tempted: Patchouli Amber

The one I chose to receive from bzzagent for free for my honest review was No 1: Enraptured: Jasmine Cedarwood.

REVIEW: Like any product they all have their positive and negative attributes. I always like to start things off by mentioning the positive things first.

Pros: What I really liked about Glades Atmosphere Fine Fragrance Mist is the smell. Let me tell you that it smells like a meadow, once you sprayed it any room that you sprayed it in was easily transformed into a field of flowers.

Cons: There was not that many cons in this product. What I didn't like was the price. The price of this is $5. I feel like this is a little expensive for this. Even thought this is infused with essential oils $5 is still too much. For $5 I can get a package of 2 febreeze Tide sprays (that's 2 full sized sprays). The second thing I didn't like about this is that it was like half full when I recived this.

According to the comments on an instagram ad from Glade about their Atmosphere Fine Fragrance Mist collection; when asked why this product was half full they responded with something along the lines "The oz in this product are exactly 6.2 oz and the bottle is a little big so it can spray easier? (I'm not so sure if that was exactly what they said why the bottle was big). Another thing I didn't like about this product is that the smell didn't last that long when you sprayed it. According to Glade, when asked again in the ad comments, this mist isn't supposed to cover up odors.

Would I buy this again: If I want to splurge on something nice for my room... maybe.

Would I recommend this: Yes & no. (Please read the whole review before making your decision)

Have you tried this product? (if so which one did you try) Also, did you like it?

How to get your dog to stop barking at Fireworks

Hey guys! How was your 4th of July? Mine was ok, I really didn't do much.

I had a different post planned for today, but over the weekend I discovered how to help my dog stop barking at fireworks.

*cheers & cries of joy*

So, I wanted to share my new found discovery with all the dog parents out there, who are struggling with this issue.

July 3rd:
My neighbors started setting off really loud fireworks at 10pm which woke up my dog & she started barking. I was like "Oh no, here comes a sleepless night" at first I just holding her, going "shhh it's ok" but NOPE that didn't help. They set off one that shoots out alot of colors & my dog sat up. That's when I started massaging her shoulders & head. I kept on doing this for each firework. Massaging her from head to toe. She would still growl, but I would keep massaging her until the firework stopped or she stopped growling. By then she was associating that loud boom means she would get a massage, so she didn't growl.  Right now it's 11:40pm she is fast asleep.

July 4th
OK so the firework started around 6pm. My dog was barking non stop so I was like "it's go time." Started giving my dog a massage; but after hours of doing so my fingers were getting cramped up so I had to find another solution & I had to find it quick. So, I told my dog if she wanted a treat to follow me. She did & I gave my dog some treats. I hid some so she would focus more on finding the treat instead of the fireworks.
At 10pm the fireworks were still going on so since my fingers were well rested now I continued massaging my dog. She fell asleep until a really loud firework (sounded like a grenade) woke her up. She started barking so I had to get her onto where I was by giving her a treat. Now it's 11:00pm fireworks, are still going on, but she's fast asleep.

July 5:
Today they didn't set off as many fireworks near my house. Thank goodness.

July 6:
People were lit a couple fireworks today but by dog was too busy playing with her toys to even pay attention.

July 7 & 8
No fireworks today.

In conclusion:
After conducting this "experiment" for 4 days. I came to the conclusion that massages & treats worked really well in helping my dog not bark at the fireworks.
Also, be careful if your dog tends to go "crazy" with the fireworks. If you try to pick it up then, it will probably bite you.

Do you have a dog & is it scared of fireworks? Also, if you have any other techniques that help your dog not bark at fireworks; I would love to hear about them in the comments below. Let's help each other out :)

*Disclaimer: I am in no way claiming that this will work for all dogs. I'm just basing my observation on my dog. Hope these tips work for you.

How to instagram story like Zoella (Zoe Sugg)

Zoe Sugg or "Zoella" as most people refer to her as; is a British beauty, fashion & lifestyle vlogger.

She is also an author; her books include the "Girl Online" series & her latest work that will be out soon called "Cordially Invited."

But this isn't what were here to talk about... we're here to talk about Zoe's instagram. I'm sure this is why you clicked on this right? If you've been following Zoe on instagram for a long time you know that her insta feed is goals AF. Especially during the fall time. I mean have you seen this!

Goals! Just goals! her instagram feed isn't the only thing that's "popping" her instagram stories have been getting a lot of compliments lately. With people asking her the very question you're going to get answered here today & that is "What app [does she] use?"

Just in case you're not familiar with what kind of instagram stories I'm talking about... Here's what I mean...

The app Zoe uses for her instagram stories is called "Unfold"
Looks like this:

But.... hold your horses everyone, before you go to the app store and download it... you should know that the more popular templates that Zoe uses (the Polaroid ones) are NOT in the free pack of templates the app offers you. These templates & more cost $2. Yes, you read that right $2.

Oh, you have the $2 to spend on the templates? Ok cool you can skip to the tutorial part... if you don't have the $2 don't be sad keep on reading too & find out how you can get $2 to spend on these templates...

If you don't have $2 to spend follow this...

I would reccomend the app feature points. What this app does is that it gives you coins that you can later exchange for stuff like paypal money, amazon gift cards & even itunes gift cards.

In order to get the coins you have to download the apps they reccomend & play with them for about 3 minutes. Once it credits you with the coins you can go ahead and delete them. Repeat this until you've gathered enough to get your first reward. Here's a tip to gain coins faster. If you share your referral link (it gives your followers free 50 points) & people click it then start downloading apps you will get half of the coins they're earning. So let's say for example an app they download is worth 100 coins. You will get 50 of those coins. (Don't worry they still get the full amount of coins the app stated the download was worth)

OK so you have the $2 to spend now & have downloaded unfold the app correct? Time to move onto the next steps...

The adding pictures part is so easy so I won't show you that part.

If you pick a template with words on it for example if you click this one

To save:

So that's it. The app is super easy to use & it allows you to add photos, short video clips & even boomerangs. Makes everything look super cute.
