Hey guys, in today's blog post we are going to be talking about the #TeamTrees movement.

I'm sure you've all probably heard about it by now, but just in case you haven't heard about the team trees movement here's a quick run down.


The team trees movement was started by a YouTuber named Jimmy Donaldson  (aka Mr. Beast). Mr. Beast has done a lot of good deeds and uploads them to his YouTube channel. He has done videos where he's donated to food banks, helped homeless people, opened up a $1 store (with expensive things in it), donated money to streamers. The list is endless.

Anyways, when he got to 20M YouTube subscribers he wanted to do something special to celebrate such a huge milestone. So, people suggested he should plant 20M trees and that's how it all started...


Mr. Beast partnered up with Arbor Day Foundation and created the #TeamTrees movement. The team trees movement is for every dollar you donate you are helping plant a tree. That's right, $1 = 1 tree. Their goal is to plant 20M trees by 2020.


Don't feel bad if you don't have a lot of money and can only donate alittle. Every bit counts. Also, if you don't have any money to donate spreading awareness is also valid. Like I said every single bit counts cause we only have one Earth so we better start treating it right :)
