5 Little Things That Made Me Smile This Week

I’ve been trying to slow down and notice the small things lately. Moments that feel warm, peaceful, or just a little bit joyful. So here are five that made me smile this week:

1. The Smell of Lavender in My Room

I plugged in my lavender scent again and it instantly made my space feel calm. It’s such a small thing, but it changes the whole mood of the room.

2. A Quiet Cup of Coffee in the Morning

I had one of those mornings where everything was still, and I got to enjoy my coffee with creamer without rushing. Just me, my cup, and a little peace.

3. Dill Pickle Popcorn

I picked up a bag again and snacked on it while watching YouTube videos. I don’t know what it is about that flavor, but it always hits the spot.

4. Hearing a Song I Forgot I Loved

I randomly played some old music this week and stumbled on a song that used to be on repeat. That nostalgic feeling made me smile so much.

5. Letting Myself Rest Without Guilt

I gave myself permission to do nothing. No chores, no tasks, just a little break. Sometimes rest is the best kind of self-care.

If you made it this far, tell me something small that made you smile this week ðŸ«¶ Let’s celebrate the little wins.

Glad Force Flex Max Strength Trash Bags Review

Hey everyone! welcome back to another product review. Today we are going to be reviewing the Glad Force Flex Max Strength Trash Bags. I was sent these trash bags for free by Influenster and Glad in exchange for my honest review.

Here’s what the trash bag looked like:

Product Review:
There’s so many great things to talk about with these trash bags. First of all the scent is heavenly, which I loved because instead of smelling all the garbage from the garbage can I am greeted with a pleasant smell instead. I also loved how much garbage I was able to put on the trash bag and it DIDN'T RIP. Definitely am going to be buying again. These trash bags are a must need in all homes.

How to host a perfect Fall Movie Night

Hosting a perfect fall movie night is a fantastic way to enjoy the cozy vibes of the season with friends and family. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you create an unforgettable evening:

1. Choose the Right Movies: The key to a great movie night is selecting the right films. Opt for a mix of classic fall-themed movies, cozy romantic comedies, and maybe even a light-hearted spooky film. Some great options include "Hocus Pocus," "When Harry Met Sally," "You've Got Mail," and "Practical Magic."

2. Create a Cozy Atmosphere: Transform your living space into a warm, inviting haven. Use soft blankets, throw pillows, and dim lighting to set the mood. Consider adding some fall-themed decorations like pumpkins, fairy lights, and scented candles with autumnal scents like cinnamon, apple, or pumpkin spice.

3. Prepare Delicious Snacks: No movie night is complete without snacks. Prepare a variety of treats that capture the essence of fall. Think caramel popcorn, apple cider donuts, pumpkin pie, and a hot chocolate bar with all the fixings. Don't forget to offer some savory options like cheese and crackers or a warm spinach artichoke dip.

4. Set Up a Viewing Area: Make sure everyone has a comfortable spot to sit and watch the movies. Arrange seating so that everyone has a good view of the screen. If you have a projector, consider setting up an outdoor movie night under the stars, complete with cozy blankets and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows.

5. Plan Intermissions: Schedule short breaks between movies to allow everyone to stretch, grab more snacks, and chat. Use this time to play some fall-themed games or activities, like a pumpkin carving contest or a trivia quiz about the movies you're watching.

6. Send Out Invites: Make your movie night feel special by sending out fun, themed invitations. You can go digital with e-vites or get crafty with handmade invites. Be sure to include all the details like date, time, location, and any special instructions (e.g., bring your own blanket).

By following these steps, you'll create a memorable fall movie night that everyone will enjoy. So gather your loved ones, snuggle up, and enjoy the magic of fall through some fantastic films!

Fall Cleaning and Organization Tips

As the leaves change color and the air turns crisp, it's the perfect time to refresh your home with a thorough fall cleaning. Not only does this set the stage for a cozy and inviting atmosphere, but it also prepares your space for the upcoming holiday season. Here are some essential tips to help you declutter and organize your home this autumn.

1. Create a Cleaning Checklist

Start by making a comprehensive checklist of tasks you want to accomplish. Break it down by room and prioritize areas that need the most attention. This helps you stay organized and ensures you don't miss any critical spots.

2. Declutter First

Before you start cleaning, take some time to declutter. Go through each room and get rid of items you no longer need or use. Donate, recycle, or throw away anything that doesn't serve a purpose in your home. This not only makes cleaning easier but also creates a more organized space.

3. Deep Clean Carpets and Rugs

Fall is an excellent time to deep clean your carpets and rugs. Over the summer, they can accumulate dirt, dust, and allergens. Renting a carpet cleaner or hiring a professional can make a significant difference in the freshness of your home.

4. Clean Windows and Curtains

With the shorter days of fall, you'll want to let in as much natural light as possible. Clean your windows inside and out, and don't forget to wash or dry clean your curtains. This will brighten up your space and make it feel more inviting.

5. Organize Closets and Storage Spaces

As you transition your wardrobe from summer to fall, take the opportunity to organize your closets. Store away summer clothes and bring out your fall attire. Use storage bins, baskets, and labels to keep everything neat and accessible.

6. Refresh Bedding and Linens

Switch out lightweight summer bedding for warmer, cozier options. Wash or dry clean comforters, blankets, and pillowcases to ensure they're fresh and ready for the cooler months. This is also a good time to rotate your mattress.

7. Clean Kitchen Appliances

With the holiday season approaching, your kitchen will likely be a hub of activity. Clean your oven, refrigerator, and other appliances thoroughly. Don't forget to check expiration dates and organize your pantry.

8. Tackle the Bathrooms

Give your bathrooms a deep clean by scrubbing tiles, grout, and fixtures. Replace shower curtains and bath mats if needed. Organize your toiletries and discard any expired products.

9. Prepare Outdoor Spaces

As you enjoy the last bit of mild weather, take some time to clean and organize your outdoor spaces. Rake leaves, clean gutters, and store away summer furniture. This will make your yard look tidy and ready for winter.

10. Add Seasonal Touches

Finally, add some seasonal touches to your home to embrace the spirit of fall. Decorate with pumpkins, autumn wreaths, and cozy throws. These small additions can make a big difference in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

By following these fall cleaning and organizing tips, you'll create a clean, clutter-free, and cozy home that's ready for the holiday season. Happy cleaning!

Product Review:
I recently tried out the Shinery Radiance Wash and the Shinery Brush, and I have to say, I’m really impressed! The Radiance Wash is super easy to use. You just apply a small amount to your jewelry, rub it gently, and rinse it off. It left my pieces looking incredibly shiny and clean, without any harsh chemicals. The scent is also quite pleasant, which is a nice bonus.

The Shinery Brush complements the wash perfectly. Its bristles are soft yet effective at getting into all the nooks and crannies of intricate designs. It’s great for cleaning those hard-to-reach spots that you might miss with just a cloth. Together, these products make a fantastic duo for keeping your jewelry in top condition.

Overall, I’d highly recommend the Shinery Radiance Wash and Brush to anyone looking to maintain their jewelry’s sparkle with minimal effort. They’re definitely worth the investment!
