Letters to Cookie

Dear Cookie,

It's been 16 months since you crossed the rainbow bridge. 

How have you been? I miss you so much everyday still. I wish I could turn back time to the very first day I got you. I remember it was raining that night. I wasn't able to find my friends house until she came out and waited for me under a light post. She was holding you in her arms and then she handed you to me. I still remember that you smelled like strawberries that day. Then you kissed my cheek and my friend was like "awww she likes you". 

Besides missing you and wishing I could hold you again. I've been doing ok. I have to get some surgery soon. They found some lumps on the left breast that the doctors said I need to get taken out because it could turn into cancer later along the line. Going to the doctor isn't great but like I told you doctors are there to help you when you're sick.
