Hey everyone! For todays blog post I decided to do a Winter Tag
1. What's the most memorable Christmas present you've ever received?
The most memorable Christmas present I’ve ever received would have to be my play kitchen and the Cinderella VHS I got from Santa when I was a child. I still think about those moments til this very day
2. Do you have any unique holiday traditions that your family follows?
I’m not sure if it’s tradition because all Latino families do this. But on Christmas Eve (December 24) we make food, eat, party and we all wait until it’s 12AM then we say Merry Christmas and we all shake hands and hug. Then when that’s over we open all the gifts. The secret Santa gifts and the gifts we got for each other.
3. If you could spend Christmas anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
I like when it snows here in the US but I’m going to have to say spend Christmas in Mexico. I’ve spent Christmas in Mexico before and it’s just a different experience over there. And it’s hot so that’s a nice change of pace
4. What's your favorite holiday recipe to make or eat?
I love LOVE LOVE tamales. If you know you know. They’re my favorite food to eat during the holidays. Well, you can eat them at any time during the year but during Christmas season they hit different
5. Do you enjoy building snowmen or having snowball fights?
Believe it or not. I’ve actually never done either of those things before.
6. What holiday activity do you look forward to the most each year?
Does buying presents count? I LOVE looking for items that the person I’m shopping for has mentioned they liked during the year. Seeing the look on their face when they open their gifts on Christmas and it’s exactly what they’ve always wanted brings so much joy to my heart.
7. How do you like to decorate your Christmas tree?
Right now I have 2 Christmas trees in my room. A little one near my bed and that’s decorated in purple. And the other one is one of those pink trees from five below and that’s decorated with white snow flakes and blackpink photocards and the star is a picture of all them together. Both these trees have colorful lights.
8. What's your favorite Christmas carol or holiday song?
My favorite one is it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas by Perry Como & The Fontane Sisters.
9. Have you ever gone caroling or participated in a holiday performance?
Only when I was a child and we had to sing for our parents.
10. What's a winter activity you haven't tried yet but would love to do?
Building a snowman. I’ve said this in a previous post before. I’d love to try to build a snowman. I’ve seen people do it in movies and it looks fun.
