Chemotherapy Port Removal Day

Hey everyone! As you can tell my the title today I’m FINALLY going to be getting my chemotherapy port removed! In case you didn’t know I had cancer back in 2020 when Covid was at an all time high. I had a rare type of cancer in one of my breast. That I’m still getting checked to make sure the cancer doesn’t come back to the breast or any part of my body.

All my cancer checkups have been going great so my Doctor suggested that I get my chemotherapy port removed. I’m so happy that it’s FINALLY getting removed. This is a big thing for me because that means I’m finally getting better. You know what I mean? The chemotherapy port coming out is like a new beginning almost kinda.

I remember the first time I got my chemotherapy through the port. IT WAS HORRIBLE! I wanted to throw up constantly and the very first chemotherapy session I had all my hair fell out. Yeah, that’s how strong the chemo was that it took only 1 session of it. So now it’s time to say goodbye port and thank you for helping me kick cancers butt!

Hopefully I feel good enough tomorrow so I can make an update on how everything went.
